Milan Wins Prestigious Wine Spectator Award

The wine list of the Seta restaurant (two Michelin stars) at the Mandarin Oriental Milan has received the prestigious professional award ‘Wine Spectator 2020 Best of Award of Excellence’. With more than 1200 labels, Seta’s unique wine list showcases the best terroirs of Italy and the entire world, including Chateau La Grace Dieu des Prieurs, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Art Russe Collection.

The influential U.S. wine magazine Wine Spectator began its program to recognise the world’s best wine lists in 1981. Among the criteria for the prestigious recognition award are the quality of wines on offer, regional diversity, excellent harmony with the menu, the breadth and variety of the wine selection and many others.

Seta offers its patrons the 2014 and 2015 vintages of Chateau La Grace Dieu des Prieurs. In addition, Chateau La Grace Dieu des Prieurs, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Art Russe Collection 2014 is the only member of the family of the fine wines of Bordeaux to be part of the restaurant’s exclusive by-the-glass program.

Chateau La Grace Dieu des Prieurs is truly honoured by the presentation of its wine estate and unique art concept on a dedicated, separate page of the Seta wine list.

Laurent Prosperi, Director of Chateau La Grace Dieu des Prieurs:

“We warmly congratulate Chef Antonio Guida, Chef Sommelier Andrea Loi and the entire Seta team on this important award from the world-renowned Wine Spectator magazine! We are very grateful to the restaurant team for the opportunity to discover the wines of Chateau La Grace Dieu des Prieurs, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, Art Russe Collection, offered to Seta customers who come here to enjoy Italian haute cuisine paired with the best wines in the world.”
